This week’s ‘brilliant book’ recommendation has came from a friend of mine called Ray Higdon. Ray is a great thought leader, marketer and very successful entrepreneur. When Ray recommends a book, I normally take a look. The book is called What do you do with an idea by Kobi Yamada
This is the story of one brilliant idea and the child who helps to bring it into the world. As the child’s confidence grows, so does the idea itself.
And then, one day, something amazing happens!
This is a story for anyone, at any age, who’s ever had an idea that seemed a little too big, too odd, too difficult.
I know that’s happened to me on many occasions!
It s a story to inspire you to welcome that idea, to give it some space to grow, and to see what happens next.
Because your idea isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it’s just getting started, and that’s the FUN part 🙂
If you’ve ever had an idea just to see it be shot down in flames, or you find yourself screwing your face up when your kids tell you their latest idea, then this is for you my friend.
I encourage my kids to think big all the time, that NO idea is stupid, that they can be anything they want. When do we as adults stop thinking like that?
When was the last time you wanted to be an Astronaut for example 🙂
It’s such a shame that many of us stop dreaming, and sometimes it takes us to transport ourselves back in time to our childhood. This book does that 🙂
There’s no affiliate link here to Amazon, so I get nothing out of recommending this book, apart from sharing the knowledge, wisdom and experience of such a great author.
If you’re looking for something to spend your hard-earned cash on then this will be the best £10/$15 you have spent.
Enjoy and please let me know what you thought of it below……
